The Ilocano in me bought inexpensive beauty tools. I don’t mind buying inexpensive products as long as they deliver great results.
I thought I’d be getting quality products since I purchased and liked Etude House’s makeup before, particularly their cheek colors. The curlash can’t curl and the tweezers can’t pull out hair — just really as simple as that.
For primping tools, invest in tried and tested brands such as Japanese Shu Uemura or Shiseido curlash (best for Asian eyes) and Tweezerman tweezers. Revlon products are also nice and pretty affordable. Though I keep on losing one, I also like the Swiss Army tiny tweezers.
I wish beauty companies invest more on product testing.
